Do you feel spring in the air already? 😎 We definitely do! We’re coming to you with a fresh batch of updates from IC Project 💙 Over the last four weeks, we’ve been working hard to introduce solutions that won’t just streamline your daily workflow, but also enhance your user experience. From groundbreaking changes in the way we manage files to innovative solutions in the area of data security, we have a lot to show you! 💡

 

It’s here! 🙌 Text editor in task comments! 💬 

With the new text editor in the task comments, it is now possible to format the text, adding bold, italics, underlining, as well as inserting links. You can also easily separate sections of text using the Enter key, which can also be set to quickly add comments. In addition, you’ll notice a number of new icons underneath the comment, which allow you to quickly add text formatting, tag people, add emoji, launch the AI Assistant and attach files.

 

New possibilities on the message! 🥳

Now each thread includes an additional tab that makes it easy to view uploaded images, files and linked files directing you to the source! This is an important step in our ongoing effort to improve communication in IC Project.

To use the new feature, simply open the selected thread and click on the three dots next to its name. There you will find the option “Images, files and links”, which will take you directly to a new view. There, the files are divided into three categories so that you can quickly find what you need using the sorting and search options. In addition, you will find the option to search by name, or any sorting. Sorting by shipping date can be quite useful 😊

 

Two-step verification for greater security 🔐 

The security of your data has been most important to us since the very beginning of the IC Project. That’s why we’re now giving you the option to activate two-step verification, which adds an extra layer of protection every time you log in. This additional verification step will involve receiving a one-time code sent to your email address, giving you full control over the security of your account. You can enable or disable this feature at any time.

To enable two-step verification, click on your avatar in the top right corner, then go to settings and personalisation. Here you will find a new tab with security, which includes the option to enable the aforementioned two-step verification. With this option enabled, the system will ask you to confirm your password. Once enabled, each subsequent login will be preceded by the need to enter a one-time code, which we will send to your email address pinned to your user account.

 

Individual colours for the categories on the calendar! 

We have introduced the possibility of colour-coding categories on the calendar. This is a small but important improvement that allows you to identify different types of events more quickly, improving your time management and planning.

The ability to customise the colours of the categories can be found in the calendar settings, and you even have the option to configure your own categories to suit the specific activities of your business. This feature gives users even more flexibility in customising the calendar to suit their needs 🎨📅

 

 

New possibilities for attaching files in ICP!

Attaching files in ICP has undergone a metamorphosis! We have done away with the previous file source selection window, moving to a more intuitive view. Now you can easily attach files from your local drive, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or via any link.

What’s more, external drive integrations also work from linking files directly from their original source, which brings greater efficiency and optimisation. When a user clicks on a file uploaded to ICP, the system simply directs each user to the external drive that holds the file on its servers.

 

Fast login via Google Account

We have introduced a special SSO login using a Google account. If you add a user account whose email comes from the Google environment, this user will automatically log in with a single click using the new button in the login window ‘Sign in via Google’. One time, Google will require you to select an account, confirm your consent, and each subsequent login is literally one click without entering a password.

When adding a user, you don’t have to do anything, simply enter the relevant user email address. If the user selects the relevant Google account when logging in, we will recognise this user account in ICP and you are done. If the user account has recently been added, we will ask for an additional password setting, allowing you to use two different login methods, via Google one-click or via the traditional login with email address and password.
