Implementation for Lech Poznań

Lech Poznań is a Polish football club playing in Ekstraklasa professional league. It is an 8-times Champion of Poland, 5 times winner of the Polish Cup and 6 times winner of the Polish SuperCup. Currently, it is on the 5th place of the all-time Ekstraklasa raking. It is one of the biggest football clubs in Poland.

Challenge

At the start, Lech Poznań was looking for software that would streamline project and task-based work. One of the needs was to control advanced projects in the Gantt chart. The key to keep up with the deadlines was a transparent and visual schedule with an appropriate project break-down. Communication and notifications were also important for the club.

Implementation process

Lech Poznań decided to start with the trial period which, for the purposes of tool implementation, was extended to enable the team, supported by IC Project implementation specialists, to familiarise themselves with the functioning of the tool. The department manager, Wiktor Bednarek, was comprehensibly trained and, subsequently, he presented key knowledge to other team members. The solution has proven to be successful, translating into long-term cooperation.

Benefits

When implementing the program, we didn’t really think about it, but in the times of the COVID-19 pandemic the system saved all our projects we had in the cloud. In the standard scope, Lech Poznań has gained a tool that strongly supports project and task-based work. The functional Gantt chart visualises the entire project process and supports timely performance. Lots of benefits, low level of risk.
