Our Gantt charts have gained new, long-awaited features that will make project management even easier. From now on, you will be able to freely manipulate columns, automatically calculate task durations, and present data more clearly with XLSX export. See for yourself what we’ve prepared for you!

We are offering even more possibilities with our Gantt chart! 📊

One of the main improvements is the ability to freely expand and narrow columns on the Gantt chart. Previously, long project or task names would get hidden, making work more difficult. Now, this issue has been resolved – you can adjust the column width to your needs, greatly enhancing readability and convenience when working with the schedule.

Another new feature is the addition of a duration column. No more counting days between the start date and end date! Now, IC Project will do it for you, showing the exact number of days for each project element. This simple but very helpful addition significantly eases planning and progress monitoring.

Sometimes you need a full view of the timeline without the distracting elements of the project structure. Thanks to the new icon in the top left corner of the Gantt chart, you can now hide the entire project structure on the left side. This allows you to fully focus on the timeline, which is especially useful during analysis and planning.

You can now attach multiple contractors to your projects 🎯

Do you have several contractors working on a single project? No problem! Now you can assign any number of contractors to a project.

When adding or editing a project, simply select more contractors, making it much easier to manage projects that involve collaboration with various partners. This solution comes directly from our users’ feedback. Attaching more contractors from our CRM module allows you to immediately see which contractors are associated with a project.

If a project has multiple contractors, you will see an additional number with a plus sign next to the first contractor, which allows you to display the others. This entire change is, of course, integrated with contractor search, and on each contractor’s tab in the CRM, you can see their projects, even if they are just one of many contractors on a project.

The leave request in PDF format now includes all filled-in fields automatically 💙

Each approved leave request can now be generated in PDF format, facilitating the transition to electronic absence management. The new feature automatically populates all data fields in the leave request. All essential information regarding the request is now consolidated into a single PDF file.

To use this option, simply navigate to the absence module in the left menu, then click on the three-dot icon next to the approved leave requests. Here, you can either open the request within the system or download it as a PDF file with automatically filled fields. This is a simple and convenient way to manage absences!

Export your Gantt chart to XLSX format! 📈

For those who need even more data analysis capabilities, we’ve introduced the option to export Gantt charts to XLSX format. Now you can easily open your project charts in Excel and leverage advanced analytical tools. The export option is available in the chart menu under the three-dot icon in the top right corner, alongside the existing PNG and PDF formats. Exporting to XLSX provides greater flexibility and detailed data analysis in a familiar and widely used program.

The new features in IC Project make working with Gantt charts even more intuitive and efficient. From managing column widths to automatically calculating task durations, and now including export to XLSX format – each of these updates has been introduced to enhance the daily workflow of our users. We look forward to your feedback and suggestions so that we can continue developing our product according to your needs. Happy working! 😍
