July is the definitive start of the summer holidays, but you definitely don’t see those holidays with us. It was a month that brought news capable of transforming your work into a much more productive one. Last time, we mentioned that we were working on some big things in the quiet, and some of them saw the light of day with the start of the holiday season.

We’re thinking here of the opening of API documentation, integration with external calendars (we’ve got Outlook!), or a totally new module for service tickets, among other things. These are really big things that make IC Project a very comprehensive system in its functionality. That seems to be enough for an introduction… Let’s go through in detail what we have made available for you in the July period ?

 

API documentation now available! ? Put your work together!

We have extremely exciting news to share!  We are proud to announce that we have just released the long-awaited API documentation for our tool, IC Project. The opening of our application programming interface is a milestone in the development of our platform, which puts us one step closer to achieving our mission of making your work easier and supporting your projects. Open API documentation means many opportunities to make your work even more comprehensive and automated. We know that many people have been waiting for this, and the moment has just arrived ?

The API documentation will enable you to integrate our tool with other applications and systems, customize it to your unique needs, and bring out the full potential that IC Project has to offer. Thanks to the API documentation, you can now effortlessly create your own solutions that work perfectly with our software, and maximize the efficiency of your project activities. We are uncovering all the cards for you to make IC Project a software that effectively connects with the rest of your corporate processes.

We put an automated and comprehensive service ticket module in your hands ⚒️?

We are very proud to announce the launch of our new service ticketing system. It is a completely new module that will allow you to comprehensively manage the entire service in your company. With the use of our new feature, you can, among other things, automatically receive tickets from your external customers in a variety of ways, easily manage communication on each ticket, or instantly link each ticket to an instantly created task in IC Project. It’s a solution that will bring the management of service, complaints or any other process to a far higher level of organisation. Let’s go through it together ?

When going through the ticket system chronologically, it is a good idea to start with the process of receiving service tickets from external users. In order for a potential ticket to appear in the system, all you need to do is use one of the three ways we have prepared for you ?

You can create a freely definable form and make it available on a dedicated URL link at a location of your choice. The second solution is to use a dedicated email address or add tickets manually. We provide the notifier with a special external panel through which they can communicate with your company. You, on the other hand, have all communication at report level, can easily reply to the customer and even use templates. Each ticket is also a multitude of additional options, such as managing priorities, ticket types, assigning operators, linking to a contractor or managing statuses ?

And then, of course, there are the other important possibilities of IC Project as your project and task management tool. For each ticket, you can instantly create a task using the information submitted in the ticket. It is literally just a few clicks and the potential problem will be solved in task form. Everything will be connected together using ICP ✔

We have integration with Outlook calendar! ? (and other calendars too!?)

We announce that the Outlook calendar integration is ready to use ? We realise that multitudes of people have been waiting for the possibility to integrate the calendar in IC Project with Outlook calendar, so…. this is probably good news for you 🙂

Of course, it’s not just an integration with Outlook calendar, but also all external calendars including Google calendar and Apple calendar. It’s simply a global solution that we’re giving you so that all your calendars are in one command centre ?

The entire solution for external calendars can be found in the system settings or from within the calendar. In the top right corner of your calendar, you will see the option ‘External calendars.’ Once clicked, you will see the ‘Add’ button. Fill in the name of the calendar, and add a link and decorator with which the events of the external calendar will stand out from the others. You can find the link that makes the calendar available in the individual external calendars of Google, Outlook or Apple. We show in the video above how to do this in Outlook ❗

Use the new ‘Recipient’ option on invoices in ICP! ℹ️

The new ‘Recipient’ option has already appeared on invoices issued in IC Project. If filling in the ‘Buyer’ field wasn’t enough information on an invoice, the recipient will be a great solution to make an additional entity appear on the invoice. It’s a simple solution in the form of a text field that allows you to enter any information you like, which will make your invoice more comprehensive ✔

Remember that you can easily link each invoice to ongoing projects, and use the finance module to bundle all project finance issues in one place. We are convinced that with the additional ‘Recipient’ field, your work around invoices will be even easier ?

And how were the impressions? We know from good sources that a lot of people were waiting for the ticket module in the new version, integration with the most popular Outlook calendar or accessible API documentation. We were able to make all this available within one holiday month, so the organisation of our work is all the more pleasing. PS. We have this one tool that helps us out a bit ?
