Oh, it was happening in 2023! ? This year for ICP was a time of intense work, creative challenges and continuous improvement ? Together with us, discover what amazing events took place, what innovative features were added and what goals were achieved to provide you with an even better project management tool ?

 

1️⃣ January 

January 2023 brought huge changes to IC Project, starting with the introduction of a completely new system. New technology, the highest UX standards and numerous functionalities made the work even more organised ?‍?

? Financial charts in the finance module ?

We introduced visual and customisable financial charts in the finance module, a milestone in data analysis. Four charts, focusing on costs, financial performance and project structure, provided a new level of control over the financial aspects of a project.

? Control of temporal project deviations on Gantt charts ?

We added project deviation functions on the Gantt chart, which made it possible to track planned dates against actual dates. This innovation allowed us to quickly spot any project inaccuracies and control the schedule.

? IC Project support centre ?‍?

IC Project now provides quick access to a wealth of user manuals, video tutorials and other educational material from within the system. The support centre is available in two languages, Polish and English, providing comprehensive assistance to users.

? Adding tasks more efficiently.

We have made adding tasks easier by placing add buttons on all task views. Now users can add tasks quickly and efficiently from anywhere in the system.

? New website.

In addition to functional updates, IC Project has surprised with a completely new website. The visual change aims to increase the clarity and ease of use of the platform.

2️⃣ February 

From improved task cyclicity to multilingual support, each update enhances the tool with key elements, in line with user needs. Another month also brought significant technological changes, opening the door to future innovations in the world of project management.

? Improved cyclicality for tasks.

Now users can benefit from improved cyclicality for tasks, automating repetitive activities and optimising task management in IC Project.

? System available in more languages!

IC Project has expanded its global presence with the introduction of German and Italian language support ?? ??.

? Configurable working time types.

Thanks to a new feature, administrators can define their own working time types, adapting them to the specific characteristics of their company.

? Download time reports in any format.

Time reports can be downloaded in PDF or XLSX format, gaining the ability to easily share and store data.

? Change in the structure and technology of the entire system at app.icproject.com.

A key step was to move the entire system under the new subdomain app.icproject.com, which allows for uniform structural management of the tool and prepares the way for future innovations and integrations.

3️⃣ March 

The end of the quarter was the pretext for major changes focused on visualising processes, improving user experience and adding new features to further enhance project management.

? We’ve introduced 8 new widgets on your desktop!

Lots of new visual widgets that will serve to visualise your work even more effectively in a fast and efficient way ?

? Linking events to tasks in IC Project!

Functionality for linking events to tasks, integrating planning with activities in the system.

? We have implemented up to 28 User Experience improvements to make the tool even more user-friendly and intuitive for you to use on a daily basis! ?

We’ve improved the ways in which you can select dates in many parts of the system, added lots of hover prompts for the things that matter most in IC Project (including the names of your milestones, task boards or statuses on boards), made time reporting easier, added character counters in many places, and redesigned the icons on the task to quickly get to task communication and time measurement. Plus a few quick and essential fixes… ?

? Game-changer in task management – a new task view on the Kanban board inside each project.

A new task view that transforms your board into a vertical division in relation to people. All you have to do is click the option ‘Show by status’ or ‘Show by people’. With the second option, you will always see as many columns here as there are people participating in the board. All tasks will immediately be assigned to a user, so you can easily enter the world of task management for a larger team.

? Help Centre and changelog.

Implementation of a Help Centre with a new changelog, enabling users to track and understand changes.

4️⃣ April

In April, ICP blossomed with total new features! ? The artificial intelligence assistant, the desktop application and the automatic download of dependencies in templates are just some of the exciting improvements.

? We have an artificial intelligence assistant ?

You can create descriptions for tasks with great ease, and add new comments using text generated by artificial intelligence.

? IC Project desktop application.

We launched the IC Project desktop application via a connection to Google Chrome, which allows the IC Project to be used conveniently as an application on a computer.

? Automatic download of dependencies in templates.

In each project, you can create time dependencies between stages, task boards and even milestones. In short, between elements of your projects. Using our template system, you can easily save a template taking dependencies into account.

? Summing up time reports.

Each time report has already been given an additional sum, which creates a summary of the working times for the entire generated report. You will see the sum in the time report by user, but also by project.

? A further 20 User Experience improvements ❗

Special focus on the intuitiveness of date selection in tasks and elsewhere in the system.

5️⃣ May

May was pretty interesting! A real feast for all those looking for innovative solutions in project management! ?

? New function of teams!

“Departments” replaced by “Teams”, made it possible to create and manage teams in different areas of the system.

? Designation of days off for the company.

Administrators can now easily mark days off for the entire company, visible on the calendar and in holiday requests.

? Generation of time reports by labels.

New option to generate user time reports against labels assigned to tasks.

? New notifications of upcoming task deadline.

Three new notifications of impending task completion have been created.

6️⃣ June 

June brought many innovations based on user feedback. Thanks to the satisfaction survey, we were able to focus on real needs and make improvements.

? We excluded closed tasks in the calendar view.

Based on feedback from the survey, we decided to exclude completed and closed tasks from the calendar view. This is a strategic move to increase the transparency of the calendar and focus attention on current tasks.

? New task view on the calendar.

A view that allows you to choose between a date range and a specific task deadline. This is a significant improvement for task work and increases the flexibility of the calendar.

? New search by project manager role.

We have added a function to search for projects by project manager role. You can now easily find projects assigned to a specific manager, making it easier to monitor progress and staff occupancy.

? We updated the interface of the entire system to continually offer the latest technological capabilities.

We have updated the system interface, including minor changes to icons, colours and menus.

7️⃣ July

It was a month that brought news capable of transforming your work into a much more productive one. But this is just a foretaste, as the following months of the year delivered even more exciting changes and improvements to IC Project.

? We made available the long-awaited API documentation!

This is a milestone in the development of the platform, enabling integration with other applications and automating work.

? We have put in your hands an automated and comprehensive service request module ⚒️?

Service request handling, allows you to comprehensively manage service requests in your company. You can already receive requests, manage them and even create tasks in IC Project based on the requests.

? We have announced the readiness to integrate with Outlook calendar, as well as other external calendars!

With this solution, all calendars can be centralised in IC Project.

? We have added a new ‘Recipient’ option on invoices.

The new option allows additional information about the recipient. This is a simple form of text field to make invoices more comprehensive.

8️⃣ August 

Despite the traditionally holiday atmosphere, our team has been working on improvements that are sure to be of interest to all users. We have introduced a number of new features, including a task dependency module, a task grouping function in the task list view and a Wiki category management option.

? Manage the availability of Wiki categories!

Users have full control over category availability in the Wiki. They can make categories available to selected users while hiding them from the rest.

? We have added a task grouping feature in the task list view.

You can now group tasks by project, person, label, priority and task status.

? New task dependencies module!

This module has enabled advanced task dependencies. Users can specify the conditions of the dependencies and automatically receive relevant information when a job is completed. A breakdown of pending, blocking and linked tasks has been introduced, with the possibility to track task work history.

9️⃣ September 

Although most people associate this month with a return to day-to-day responsibilities after the holidays, we have continued our mission to improve the tool that helps you manage your projects.

? You can now generate more detailed time reports, focusing on tasks with specific labels.

This feature allows you to track working time for specific types of tasks, which is ideal for analysing efficiency in projects.

? Gantt chart available both in the Kanban board inside the project and in the standard project view!

This facility allows flexible monitoring of project progress, both at the board level and the overall schedule level.

? October 

October has not only brought with it falling leaves, but also exciting new features in IC Project that are sure to improve your daily work!

? Release of the workload module! ?

Comprehensive work scheduling centre, enabling you to plan tasks for weeks. Visual graphs show the workload of the team, making it easy to identify moments of overload or underload for each employee.

? Task dependencies available in all templates!

You can use task dependencies in all saved templates for projects, stages, boards and individual tasks. This convenience allows for more advanced and intuitive project management.

? End the clutter of notifications! Manage categories! ?

A new feature makes it easier to get to the relevant categories of notifications, allowing you to filter them by subject matter. Categories include projects, tasks, calendar, reminders, notifications, absences and more.

? Automation in the ticketing system ?

For users handling service requests, we have added an automation feature to assign an operator to a specific form. The new option eliminates the need to manually assign operators to newly incoming requests.

? We minimise the number of clicks when assigning people ?️?‍?

We have added a new button to assign all employees at the ‘People’ tab level in projects, boards and tasks. This convenience reduces the time to assign employees to projects, boards and tasks.

November was a time of intense work and creativity for us, and the results are truly remarkable ? You can now control your workload through the new task view, instantly download invoices and financial files in ZIP format, and use an intuitive time entry mechanism.

? New features in the workload module.

We have added the ability to change the view from time-based to task-based, allowing you to focus not only on the number of hours worked, but also on the number of tasks assigned to an employee on a specific day.

? We have enabled the instant download of selected invoices and financial files in ZIP format.

This improvement eliminates the need to download each invoice separately, speeding up financial management.

? Intuitive time entry mechanism.

The user can now enter time more naturally, without having to select hours and minutes, saving time and increasing efficiency.

? We have introduced a sorting function for favourite projects, giving the user full control over the order of display.

Now the user can adjust the order of projects according to their importance by simply sorting from top to bottom or bottom to top ?

December in IC Project not only closed the year, but also opened the door to new innovative features that were introduced to make project management more efficient and convenient ?

? New text editor ?

Editor enabled text formatting such as headings, colours, font sizes. Available wherever text editing is possible, it provides additional possibilities and enhances the user experience.

? Improved AI Assistant ?

Corrects any content contextually, changes length, or text style with two clicks ?️

? Faster file uploads ?

We’ve introduced file transfer using keyboard shortcuts (CTRL+C and CTRL+V), eliminating the need for additional clicks and searches.

? A new form of attaching files via the ‘Link’ option ?

This solution allows you to link a file to its destination using a traditional link. Ideal for those who want to keep files in one place while still being able to access them from a project, task, messenger or Wiki.
